About the Author

Miriam Kaplan, author of the book, Healing is Transformation: The Opening of the Rose studied and practiced transformational healing for over a decade. For over ten years she has also studied and practiced meditation and continues to place meditation at the center of her life. She is a graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. Her sensitivity and intuition enable her to understand crystals and the earth’s wisdom and to impart that understanding to others. She is available for lectures and consultations concerning the healing and environmental use of crystals and gemstones.
